Territory

The cats of the Tribe of the Falling Sky perceive their territory as being split four ways.
At the sunrise point, there lies the Burn, where the Tribe's old camp lies before deadly fire destroyed the surrounding woodland. These woods have not recovered in the year that has past, however wildlife is slowly returning to the area. Squirrels have been spotted darting in and out of the trees, and a warren has been scented on the border between the Tree Wall and the Burn.

The current camp is on the borders of the Tree Wall, the Burn, and the river. It is surrounded by a wall of brambles, and is centered around the only tree to survive the fire. This was taken as a sign from the Tribe of Whispers, and it was decided that the Tribe would set up their new lives there. The camp has six dens, four hollowed bushes that have been patched with brambles and filled with moss to create soft and safe resting spaces for the cats. These bushes make up the warriors, elders, kits, and apprentices dens. The medicine den is set inside a hollowed log that had naturally occurring shelves and tangled roots that create the back wall of the den. There is space for four cats, not including the den's permanent residents, to rest and recover in this den. The leaders den is rather unconventional, and it rests in the tree that the camp is centered around. At one point in time, an owl rested in this tree, however it was likely scared off by the fires and has not returned since. The den is surprisingly spacious, with room four three cats to stand inside it. Inside the main camp, there is also a very large, flat rock, which is where meetings are held. Prey is kept in the shadow of this rock to prevent the sunlight from affecting it's edibility.

The land which the Tree Wall protects is a part of an abandoned twoleg settlement. It holds several buildings which house the occasional loner, and large amounts of mice. There are also several fields here, which have now been taken over by rabbits and mice. In the winter, it is common for cats to hunt here. Though prey is common here, there is also a higher risk of predators near the twoleg buildings. Foxes frequent this area, and badgers and dogs are also not uncommon. Cats hunting here are right to be wary. Certain herbs are also frequently found in this area, and patrols are occasionally sent to find herbs alone.

At the sunset point, lies the Dark Trees, a large forest of tall pines that makes up the majority of the territory that the tribe holds. A dry stream runs through the side furthest away from camp, which is an opportune hunting spot for mice and voles. Though there are few herbs here, there is plenty of prey and little risk of other predators.

On the other side of the stream, opposite the Burn, lies the Marshes. This piece of territory is only frequented by cats that enjoy swimming, which is, admittedly, most of them. Prey isn't overly common here, nor are herbs, however the herbs that are found here are valuable and always needed, and the prey is often large.
